Past events

  • Today, we say goodbye to Wouter, in Lokeren, Belgium.

    It is with real sadness that his colleagues, family and friends close the door to his explosive scientific adventure.

    Wouter learned with ease the guitar, entertaining us in the long research evenings. He enjoyed detonating explosives, which was always a source of perfect conversation starter in our chemistry laboratory. He wrote his master thesis and had to defend it online, due to the covid19 restrictions.

    We enjoy having Wouter with us and we are with his family and friends in grief.

    Let's take a moment to remember him.
